Also, we have a superior bay-windowed room with luxurious king-sized bed available to add a little extra something to the occasion! Full English and vegetarian breakfasts, using only top quality local produce, are served in our comfortable dining room to set you up for a day's activities -sightseeing, walking or cycling. Located in the pretty village of Troutbeck and enjoying magnificent views High Fold Guest House is less than 3 miles from Windermere and the lakeshore. All our rooms are en-suite and have good views of the local fells. Meadfoot offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a peaceful and quiet setting but within 2 minutes walk of the lively Lake District village of Windermere. The guest house is located on the edge of Windermere village and is therefore ideally situated for the local shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. Although close to this bustling and lively Lake District village, Meadfoot is a detached guest house set in its own grounds and has an almost secluded nature. In addition to the private car park there is a large garden with patio and summerhouse for guest use. Sometimes Deer can be seen wandering in the grounds. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with traditional pine furniture;some are ground floor,some are 4 posters and some have direct access from the room to the garden.
