The guest rooms are en-suite and have been newly refurbished - 32"Sony LCD T.V's (19" in single), radio alarm clocks, hot drinks trays and hair dryers come as standard. Also, we have a superior bay-windowed room with luxurious king-sized bed available to add a little extra something to the occasion! Full English and vegetarian breakfasts, using only top quality local produce, are served in our comfortable dining room to set you up for a day's activities -sightseeing, walking or cycling. Rockside is a quality 4* Guest House, located less than 2 minutes walk from the rail and bus station, which is owner managed by Martin & Caroline Rockside was built in 1847 using traditional lakeland stone,it is a querky property which is full of character and charm. The en suite rooms are modern and have been individually styled to provide all your modern day comforts, along with retaining many of Rockside original Victorian features. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Rockside we give it the justice it deserves, we have a range of options to cater for all tastes, from a more substantial full breakfast to lighter bites and Vegetarian alternatives. All made with quality produce and served with our delicious homemade jams and award winning marmalade. Home baking is an important part of Rockside with regular homebaked biscuits to welcome you. Located in the pretty village of Troutbeck and enjoying magnificent views High Fold Guest House is less than 3 miles from Windermere and the lakeshore. All our rooms are en-suite and have good views of the local fells. Guests not wishing to drive to enjoy evening and lunchtime meals will find good food, fine wines and ales at two excellent Inn/restaurants, both within walking distance of High Fold Guest House. High Fold Guest House is a VisitBritain four star guest house. We regret we cannot offer accommodation to children under 10. Please note: High Fold Guest House is completley no smoking and guests' pets are not allowed in the Guest House.

Meadfoot offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a peaceful and quiet setting but within 2 minutes walk of the lively Lake District village of Windermere. The guest house is located on the edge of Windermere village and is therefore ideally situated for the local shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. Although close to this bustling and lively Lake District village, Meadfoot is a detached guest house set in its own grounds and has an almost secluded nature. In addition to the private car park there is a large garden with patio and summerhouse for guest use. Sometimes Deer can be seen wandering in the grounds. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with traditional pine furniture;some are ground floor,some are 4 posters and some have direct access from the room to the garden.
