Debbie and Dave welcome you to Cambridge House, situated in the centre of Windermere in the heart of the English Lake District. Cambridge House is a small, friendly family owned guest house built in the traditional Lakeland style. Inspected by the English Tourist Council & Visit Britain and Graded 4 Star Guest House for quality assurance. Our aim is to provide a high standard of service and accommodation for a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests (Cambridge House is Gay friendly). We pride ourselves on our warm welcoming friendly atmosphere and our extra tasty home-cooked breakfasts, whether a Full English or Vegetarian breakfast our aim is to give our guests that 'home from home' feel, and provide an enjoyable holiday in Windermere. Guests staying two nights or more receive free use of Parklands Country Club, with a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam Room, this is situated approx 1 mile from the guest house and is the perfect place to unwind.

Theresa is coeliac and has her own part of the kitchen that is strictly Gluten Free only. Leonard's Field is the ideal place to 'chill out' in peace and quiet (we are located on a quieter street), yet still within easy reach of the many walks and attractions of Keswick and the surrounding area. We are 2 minutes level walking from the centre of Keswick and approx 10 minutes from Lake Derwentwater and the legendary Theatre by the Lake. We have lock-up facilities for bikes and a secure off road area for motorbikes.

Located in the pretty village of Troutbeck and enjoying magnificent views High Fold Guest House is less than 3 miles from Windermere and the lakeshore. All our rooms are en-suite and have good views of the local fells. Guests not wishing to drive to enjoy evening and lunchtime meals will find good food, fine wines and ales at two excellent Inn/restaurants, both within walking distance of High Fold Guest House. High Fold Guest House is a VisitBritain four star guest house. We regret we cannot offer accommodation to children under 10. Please note: High Fold Guest House is completley no smoking and guests' pets are not allowed in the Guest House.

Ivy Bank is a pretty Victorian house retaining many original features. Situated on a quiet road away from main thoroughfares but within a few minutes walk of the village centre and within thirty minutes walk of several excellent viewpoints, the lakeshore and tumbling waterfalls. Guests staying at Ivy Bank can use our membership of a local leisure club. Including free use of swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa-bath, gym, badminton and snooker. We provide an informal and relaxing atmosphere, comfortably furnished, attractively decorated rooms and an excellent choice for breakfast. We have off road parking and safe storage for bikes.
