All 27 individually decorated bedrooms are en-suite some with lake views. All are equipped with satellite television, CD Hi-Fi, direct-dial telephone, radio, trouser press, tea and coffee-making facilities, bathrobes and hairdryer.
In the grounds there are many peaceful seating spots to take maximum advantage of the views. There's fly fishing in the private tarn, 9-hole putting green and croquet lawn, mountain bikes for hire. Guests have complimentary use of a nearby leisure spa (including swimming pool and sauna). Unstuffy and relaxing, Linthwaite is the perfect place to unwind.

Swinside Lodge Hotel is a small luxury hotel with seven rooms, personally run by owners Mike and Kath Bilton. Set in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District at the foot of the mountains and yet within easy access to Keswick, the hotel is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Wildlife, including red squirrels, can be seen in the gardens. Four course dinner is served each evening, complemented by an extensive wine list, earning the hotel a prestigious two AA Rosettes. Other recent awards are Lakeland hotel of the Year: Good Hotel Guide, and Small Hotel of the Year: Cumbria Tourism. All rooms are ensuite, individually designed and maintained to a high standard. Swinside Lodge is ideal for walkers, with many breathtaking walks starting from the door.
