Built in the 19th Century the Hotel Majestic is furnished in style and comfort. It has a reputation for a friendly, homely atmosphere with excellant home cooked food. Our Restaurant seats fifty in comfort. We have forty-one bedrooms made up of single, twin,double and family rooms. Amanda and her family welcome you to their home in a quiet but central road in Windermere overlooking Ellerthwaite Park. The ideal relaxed and friendly place to stay. Our comfortable guest house is only 150 metres from Windermere's centre and 10 minutes walk from the train/bus station. Lake Windermere is just a short walk down the hill to Bowness. Public transport for the lakes area also runs regularly from the end of our road.
